Soft ballet shoes are recommended but not essential for your first lesson. Your teacher can advise on what to get after you've started.

Not at all. Contemporary dance is a standalone discipline with its own techniques. However, having ballet experience can complement your contemporary training.

Very much so. It builds strength, flexibility, coordination, and cardiovascular fitness while also developing creativity and body awareness.

Because studio time is booked and reserved in advance, we ask for at least 4 days' (96 hours') notice to cancel or reschedule an individual lesson. Cancellations made with less than 4 days' notice will be charged in full. This applies regardless of the reason for cancellation, including illness, work commitments, or travel. This policy ensures we can maintain studio bookings, honour our teachers' time, and keep availability fair for all students.

No. Lesson packages are non-refundable once purchased. Individual sessions within a package can be rescheduled in line with our cancellation policy (at least 4 days' notice), but the package itself cannot be refunded, part-refunded, or transferred to another person. Unused lessons remain valid for 6 months from the date of purchase. Please only purchase a package if you're confident you can complete the lessons within that period.

Yes, all our teachers are DBS certified and First Aid trained. Safety is a top priority.

Yes, we teach throughout the year including school holidays, subject to teacher availability.

Lessons are available Monday to Friday, with evenings and weekends by arrangement.
